Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan are at the forefront
According to the report, 84 percent of the total terrorist attacks in Pakistan have taken place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces. At the same time, 90 percent of the people who died were from these two states. In contrast, Punjab and Sindh combined accounted for only 8% of the deaths in 2023. According to the report, there has been a 56 percent increase in terrorist incidents in Pakistan in 2023. Earlier in the year 2022, 980 people were killed due to terrorist incidents in the neighboring country. There has been a surprising increase of 57% in Balochistan province and 55% in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
